Introduction to Trezor

Step 1: Unboxing Your Device

Inside your device box, you will find the hardware wallet, USB cable, recovery seed card, and quick start guide.

Checking the Seal

Make sure the packaging is intact. Never use a device with a broken seal.

Important Note

Do not connect your device to any computer until you verify the package integrity.

Step 2: Connecting Your Trezor Device

Using USB

Connect the device to your computer using the supplied USB cable. Ensure your computer has an internet connection.

Installing Trezor Suite

Download and install Trezor Suite for Windows, macOS, or Linux to manage your wallet.

Launching the Suite

Open Trezor Suite and follow the on-screen instructions.

Firmware Update

If prompted, update the firmware to the latest version for security and performance.

Creating a Backup

Write down your recovery seed on the provided card. This step is crucial to recover your wallet if the device is lost or damaged.

Creating a PIN

Confirming the PIN

Re-enter the PIN to confirm and activate your wallet.

Accessing Your Wallet

Once the PIN is set, you can access your wallet, manage cryptocurrencies, and make secure transactions.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Recognized

Ensure USB drivers are installed and the cable is not damaged. Restart your computer if necessary.

Firmware Issues

Visit Trezor Support if firmware fails to update.

Lost Recovery Seed

Without the recovery seed, wallet recovery is impossible. Keep it secure and never share it online.
